About this coloring page
The vampire costume classic is a black cape with a red lining, a white shirt and a dark vest. Show your child how coloring the inside of the cape a different color from the outside makes it look like real fabric folding over.
Because this is a friendly vampire kid, feel free to get creative — a purple cape, a green vest or rainbow buttons all work. Finish with a glowing yellow moon and stars on a dark night sky.
Things to talk about
- This vampire is smiling. Do you think he’s friendly?
- Have you ever worn a cape? What would yours look like?
- Why do you think vampires only come out at night in stories?
Coloring tips for parents & teachers
- Print on regular paper for crayons and colored pencils, or thicker paper for markers.
- Younger kids? Let them color the big shapes first, then add details together.
- Free for home and classroom use — print as many copies as you need.
